Flow Hockey offers elite training at an affordable cost now in Southern Manitoba, we strive to help develop kids that are keen on getting better and working hard.

Intense programming for skating and skill development modelled after both junior and professional developmental systems. Flow Hockey camps include power skating, skill development, shooting, conditioning, skating drills, hockey drills and off-ice training. What to expect

Over 3 days and 5 high-energy sessions, players will focus on:
  • Puck Handling: Learning and practicing important fundamental details on controlling the puck around ones body.
  • Passing Skills: Improve on basic passing details along with more advanced and creative passing options.
  • Moves & Fakes: Learn and build an arsenal of move and fake options that players can apply in multiple areas of the ice.
  • Shooting: Practice important shooting mechanics while adding new ways to get pucks on net.
  • Protect the Puck: Maintain possession and create plays even in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Generate Scoring Opportunities: Develop confidence to turn puck possession into quality scoring chances.

Hockey Canada CERTIFIED skills coach

Flow Hockey is led by founder Ty Lewis, who spent parts of three seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings in the WHL. After a 100-point season in his 19-year-old season, he signed a three-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL. Ty is now a Hockey Canada-trained skills coach and has been running hockey development sessions for the past 10 years. He recently spent time working with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League as one of their Skills Coaches.

With experience working and coaching players of all ages, Ty is a valuable asset to our company. Along with skills coaching, Ty has also helped coach the U15 AAA Wheat Kings to back-to-back provincial titles, both of which were the first in Brandon's history. With his past experience playing hockey at the highest level, he understands what it takes to get there. This, along with his experience in skills coaching and his credentials, makes him a great choice for any child's development in the world of hockey.

LEAD iNSTRUCTOR

Chris is a previous USA Certified Skills coach who has been with Flow Hockey Development since early 2023. Growing up in Brandon, MB, Chris played five seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Brandon Wheat Kings, Red Deer Rebels, and Regina Pats. Following his WHL career, Chris played eight years of professional hockey in North America. After his playing career, Chris went on to head coach both the Southwest Cougars and Brandon Wheat Kings in the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League. Flow Hockey is proud to have Chris as part of our coaching team.
